Hi, my name is Justin Giles and I am a recent graduate from the University of Utah. I currently hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications with an emphasis in journalism and sports communication.
Since I can remember I have always had a passion and love for sports. As soon as I could walk, I kept my parents busy by throwing the ball around the house. I carried that passion throughout my life as I was able to play on my high school’s basketball, soccer, and football teams. With any extra time that I had, I would go snowboarding, water-skiing, skateboarding, and enjoy many other sports. As you can see, I’m a sportsaholic.
When I was kid, people would always ask me what I wanted to do when I grew up. Every time I was asked that question I never hesitated to answer them. Because of the love that I have for sports, I’ve always wanted to do something in that area. Either as a coach or as a journalist covering some sort of sporting event.
Because time does not stand still, I believe in living life to the fullest and making every second count. A quote that I try to live by goes like this. ” If you pile up enough tomorrows, you will find that you’ve collected a lot of empty yesterdays.” There is no tomorrow for us to remember if we don’t do something today.
